DeLand, Florida
DeLand, Florida was where I moved to in 1978 as a means of getting away
from the cold and snowy winters in Indiana. I took a job as an electronic
components engineer for a government defense contractor in DeLeon Springs.
Julie and I met in 1982 and were married in Sanford, Florida on June 9th, 1983.
Our smallish house on South Florida Avenue in DeLand ... 2 bedrooms,
1 bathroom, concrete block construction, with a "Florida Room" in front.
