Kissimmee, Florida We moved to Kissimmee, Florida in late April 1995 ... just days before Gary's Dad passed away in Indianapolis. We lived in the Buenaventura Lakes area, which was just a few miles down Osceola Parkway from DisneyWorld and Epcot Center. Julie used to take the kids to Universal City in Orlando quite often ... plus we had annual passes for Epcot Center. Gary continued running his network software business from Kissimmee. A blind rental for us that turned out well. Several houses in the neighborhood were vacation (short-term) rentals, so we got to chat with quite a variety of international visitors at times.
